Return & Refund Policy

At Ukwaju Market, your satisfaction is our top priority. We strive to ensure that every product you receive meets your expectations. However, if for any reason you're not completely satisfied, our return policy is here to help.

1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns under the following conditions:

  • The item is damaged, defective, or incorrect upon delivery.

  • The return request is made within 7 days of delivery.

  • The product is unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging.

Note: Perishable food items, opened personal care products, and customized items are not eligible for return unless they arrived damaged or expired.

2. How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, please:

  1. Email us at returns@ukwajumarket.com with:

    • Your order number

    • A description of the issue

    • Clear photos of the product (if applicable)

  2. Our team will review your request and provide return instructions within 1–2 business days.

3. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • If approved, a refund or store credit will be issued within 5–7 business days.

  • Refunds are made to the original method of payment.

  • You’ll receive a confirmation email once the refund is processed.


4. Return Shipping Costs

  • If the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong or damaged item), we will cover the return shipping costs.

  • For all other cases, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

5. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct product exchanges. If you'd like a different item, please return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order.
